Prima di ogni cosa indagate sempre scrupolosamente, per stabilire la verità con giustizia e chiarezza. Non condannate nessuno, se non dopo un giudizio sincero e giusto. Non giudicate nessuno in base a sospetti, ma ricercate le prove e, alla fine, pronunciate una sentenza pietosa. Non fate agli altri quel che non vorreste fosse fatto a voi”.
Dall’iscrizione latina che sta sopra la porta d’ingresso all’Avogaria di Palazzo Ducale.
ESSERE VENEZIA – 威尼斯和司法
Domenica 20 九月 埃琳娜Tagliapietra 和 阿尔贝托·托索费 hanno concluso il loro progetto 威尼斯揭晓 con una giornata all’insegna dell’Amore per Venezia, prima con una suggestiva performance collettiva in Piazza S. Marco dal titolo 幸福威尼斯 – Being Venice, e a seguire con un reading a tema Venezia e la Giustizia in Pescheria a Rialto.
La performance collettiva, ideata e coordinata dall’artista Tagliapietra, ha visto partecipare ben mille veneziani che si sono dati appuntamento in Piazza alle ore 18 e che, seguendo le istruzioni date dall’artista, hanno creato un enorme cuore che è andato via via illuminandosi al tramonto, dapprima mostrando delle crepe che si sono poi dissolte, come espressione inequivocabile del grande amore dei veneziani – residenti o, per l’appunto, “del cuore” – per questa unica città. Tutti i partecipanti erano vestiti interamente di bianco, il colore della purezza, della giustizia e della speranza, a richiamare la grande storia nel campo dei diritti umani e, appunto della giustizia, nel corso dei secoli della Serenissima Repubblica. Grazie alla collaborazione dei truccatori volontari e di Diamond FX - fornitori di colori per la pittura su corpo – a tutti i partecipanti è stato disegnato un cuore artistico sul volto, un numero così alto di facepainting da poter ambire al guinness dei record, ed è stato loro consegnato in omaggio un ombrello bianco, realizzato grazie alla collaborazione de Al Duca d’Aosta, che è stato usato per creare l’immagine suggestiva del cuore pulsante. Al centro del cuore sono stati inoltre presentati altri momenti performativi di danza, tenuti da alcuni protagonisti delle precedenti tappe, come le eleganti ballerine Sara Bonfanti e Silvia Minervino, il gruppo WorkInProgress coreografato da Federica De Pol e Michela Pedrocco e le energiche e giovani crew Palextra coordinate da Michela Vivolo.
Il momento clou della performance ha visto crearsi un cuore palpitante e ha creato un effetto tridimensionale mai visto prima in questa piazza, rendendola uno scrigno dorato contenente i suoi gioielli più preziosi. Un applauso spontaneo finale è nato dal centro del cuore emozionando tutti i partecipanti e comunicando l’amore vitale che lega i cittadini a questa città storica e contemporaneamente moderna. Dopo il ‘Bocolo’ 该 25 四月 2014 , anche questa immagine sta facendo il giro del mondo e passerà alla storia della città .
Lo scrittore 阿尔贝托·托索费 ha intrattenuto il numerosissimo pubblico prima con flash reading durante l’evento in piazza San Marco e poi con un reading più approfondito in Pescheria a Rialto a partire dalle ore 20.30. Sono state raccontate storie antiche e ricercate sull’insieme di leggi che Venezia ha emanato nel corso della sua storia, dall’abolizione del commercio di schiavi (fu primo Stato al mondo a farlo, nel 960) alle normative sul lavoro minorile in vigore fin dalla fine del Trecento per tutelare i bambini e le bambine; dal primato sul riconoscimento della proprietà intellettuale con la creazione del primo “copyright” della storia, fino alle leggi emanate a tutela dei diritti della donna.
Durante l’appuntamento in Pescheria a Rialto Venezia e la Giustizia sono stati presentati i video delle undici tappe precedenti e le associazioni benefiche locali supportate nel progetto oltre alla collaborazione internazionale di questo evento, ovvero “The Chelko Foundation” di Atlanta rappresentata da Ken Goldwasser giunto per l’occasione a Venezia, che opera a favore dei diritti di uguaglianza delle donne. Altro partner sociale di quest’ultimo appuntamento è stato l’associazione “Rialto Mio” che promuove la cultura locale e la partecipazione dei veneziani, in particolar modo dei bambini e degli anziani, alle ricorrenze popolari della città. L’evento inoltre ha ottenuto il prestigioso patrocinio dell’associazione mondiale di bodypainting: la “World Bodypainting Association”.
Per chiudere in bellezza l’intero progetto 威尼斯揭晓, successivamente al reading è stato organizzato un brindisi di saluto offerto dall’Osteria Vecio Pozzo in collaborazione con IperDrink 和 Flairtender, i quali hanno servito un buffet tipicamente veneziano a base di spritz e bigoi in salsa.
Dicono i due autori del progetto:“E’ arrivato il momento per i veneziani, includendo in questa definizione tutti quelli che amano questa città e lottano per mantenerla viva, di riprendersi Venezia; di far vedere al mondo che è città di genti , e non un museo con un orario di chiusura. Venezia è città viva , e la partecipazione a ‘Essere Venezia’ è un meraviglioso segnale di Risveglio. ”
威尼斯揭晓, con questa ultima indimenticabile tappa, ha chiuso gli appuntamenti che ormai da due anni hanno accompagnato la cittadinanza durante le maggiori festività veneziane: 救世主 (里亚托鱼市场,威尼斯和瘟疫), 历史帆船赛 (斯奎诺S. Trovaso的, 威尼斯和贡多拉), 圣马丁节 (复地马格拉,威尼斯和马), 在狂欢节 2014 (电信未来中心, 威尼斯狂欢节); 威尼斯的圣诞节 (大剧院La Fenice的, 威尼斯的诞生), 在节期德尔Bocolo (圣马可广场, 玫瑰威尼斯), 在节期德拉森萨 (威尼斯兵工厂, 威尼斯与海), la Mostra del Cinema (蓝月亮,威尼斯和电影), 在布拉诺帆船赛 (布拉诺, 威尼斯及其岛屿) 和Befane终于帆船赛 (雅典耀威尼托, 威尼斯和土耳其人) e il Carnevale 2015 (礼堂圣玛格丽塔, 威尼斯面具).

BEING VENICE – VENICE AND JUSTICE
九月 20, 2015. A100 meters white heart in St.Mark’s Squarein Venice fow the 12th and final performance of “Venice Revealed”: the project conceived by writer Alberto Toso Fei and multi-media artist Elena Tagliapietra.
“Being Venice” a large collective performance featuring hundreds of volunteers took place on Saturday, 九月 20 from 6-7:30PM on Saint Mark’s Square. Directly after the performance, 在 8:00PM at Pescherio di Rialto, “Venetian Justice” was read to mark the official closing of a 2 year long project.
Sunday, September 20th, Elena Tagliapietra and Alberto Toso Fei presented the final performance of their project Venice Revealed that included an entire day of performances to show the world the love Venetians have for their ancient yet modern city. Featuring striking collective performance Essere Venezia – Being Venice followed by a selected reading from “Venetian Justice”
The collective performance, conceived and directed by the artist Elena Tagliapietra, was made by a hundred Venetians who met at St. Mark’s at 6 pm and who, following the artist’s instructions, formed the shape of a heart that began to glow after sunset first with some cracks that eventually disappeared as the entire heart illuminated. Revealing the unmatched expression of love “del cuore” the Venetians have for their unique city.
All of the participants were dressed in white, the color of purity, justice, hope and enlightenment recalling the long history of the human rights struggle in the Republica Serenissima. All of the participants wore a signature heart on their faces provided by many volunteer face painters with the help of Diamond FX make up (a specialty body paint/make-up manufacturer) The high number of face paintings could actually be a World Record. Each volunteer received as a gift a white umbrella provided by Al Duca d’Aosta which was used to create the unique visual of the pulsing heart. Inside the heart were shown also some dance performances with featuring Sara Bonfanti and Silvia Minervino, the group WorkInProgress with Federica De Pol and Michela’s Pedrocco coreography and the energic Palextra’s crew Leaded by Michela Vivolo.
The performance culminates in a beating heart with a three-dimensional effect never seen before in this square projecting true feeling and creating a beating heart in a jeweled case. The spontaneous applause heard from the inside of the heart illustrated the deep emotional experience that the participants shared. After the creation of the “bocolo” (蔷薇花蕾) this image will go circle the world on social media highlighting the deep love between Venetians and their city.
Writer Alberto Toso Fei recounted stories from Venetian history. First with a flash reading in St. Mark’s square and additional readings beginning at 8:30PM at Pescheria Rialto. He talked about the laws that Venice has issued through the course of its history. Venice was the first State to abolish slavery in 960AD, the first to regulate the use of child labor at the end of the 14th century. The first State to recognize intellectual property with the creation of the first “copyright” and the First State to enact laws to protect the rights of women.
During the reading in Rialto Venetian Justice, videos of the previous performances that presented by many local and international charities that helped make this project possible. The international association partner of this performance is The Chelko Foumdation of Atlanta, represented by Development Director Ken Goldwasser. The Foundation exists to empower women through art, education and partnership working for an and to gender discrimination and violence against women and girls. Another partner of this performance is Rialto Mio promoting local culture and the participation of Venetians, particularly children and seniors, to the popular happenings of the city. The event has also obtained the patronage of the World Bodypainting Association. .
There will be a reception after the closing ceremony sponsored by Osteria VecioPozzo in collaboration with Iperdrink and Flairtender. Offering a tipical venetian buffet. The founders say: “Time has come for all Venetians, who love this city to fight to keep it alive and return it to the people”.
This final performance of Venice Revealed draws to a close over two years of partnership with other major Venetian festivals including Redentory, The Historical Regatta, Festa Di San Martino, the Carneval of 2014, 纳塔利威尼斯, Festa Del Bocolo, Festa Della Sensa, 71st Exhibition of Cinema, The Burano Regatta, Befane Regatta, and Carnival 2015.
Venice Revealed is produced in collaboration with Vela Spa, organizational support by 2erre Organizzazioni and the patronage of the Venice Department of Culture. Musical compositions for all Venice Revealed events were created by Mattia Corso.
